Architect Eliot Noyes was a leading pioneer of modern design during the post-war boom in the United States. Educated by Walter Gropius, Noyes aligned the Modernist design ethos to the needs of ascendant corporate America. As he did in Eames: The Architect and the Painter, filmmaker Jason Cohn uses the story of a mid-century icon to raise questions about the role of a designer in today's world.
The film will be hosted by architect Frederick Noyes, FAIA, the son of Eliot Noyes, with a discussion and Q&A.DocumentaryPT1H20M2026-01-08
